Oli Jefferson is a theatrical costume designer and stitcher with over three years of experience in the field. They believe in the inherent role of costuming as a vehicle to tell complex, evocative stories about characters and their lives. Their experience lies mostly in the design of period-specific and naturalistic shows, with a particular focus on the 17th and 18th century. They are currently completing their Masters of Fine Arts in Stage & Screen Acting at Edinburgh Napier University. They worked as the costume designer for a number of local student productions during their Undergraduate degree, as well as the shop assistant in the University's costume shop. Oli believes profoundly in telling stories and shaping experiences through the medium of costume, and strives to employ kindness, empathy, collaboration, and safety in their work.Â
